INNOVATIONS
The well-protected cockpit, with a bench seat that can easily be transformed into a bed, forms a natural continuation of the saloon.
Ergonomics under way was the guiding principle when designing the Outremer 55. More space, perfectly smooth movement around on board, better visibility and ventilation were the ever-present preoccupations of the design team!
The boat’s kitchen area is very inviting and friendly. The island’s foldable extension allows you to dine with excellent visibility forward and/ or keep an eye on the course while cooking, and still be able to chat with those in the cockpit or lounge area
A modular area in the port hull, forward (my Free Space) will allow you to customize your boat according to your needs: convertible office, design studio, independent skipper’s cabin, convertible design or DIY workshop, dressing room, children’s cabin. Everyone will naturally find their own space!
at the helm
The twin helm stations can be tilted either inboard or outboard. This allows for maximum pleasure at the helm, comfortably sat on the double bench seat on deck and with a perfect view of the sail plan. In heavy weather, or under too hot a sun, you can pivot them down to the lower position, benefitting from optimal protection under the bimini
